Join artists Hannah Ross, Madeline Lynch and the Center for Art Education Sustainability, on Sunday, May 6th from 1-5pm at the Osmunda NYC Exhibit, located at 151 Gallery, for a Natural Dye and Pigment Workshop! 

In this laboratory workshop you will gain hands on experience learning how to make your own paint from natural materials by exploring the process and techniques of watercolor and egg tempura paint making.  

We will explore creating fabric alchemy using all natural materials to create dye, then painting directly on cotton and silk.We will provide all materials , but also feel free to bring in your own natural fiber clothing and fabrics to test out the organic pigments! 

In this on going afternoon laboratory workshop, talks and demonstrations will take place every hour on the hour, while visitors develop their own paintings throughout the afternoon. 

Ages 7+ welcome. Families encouraged!
